Dr. El Harari graduated from Tripoli medical school, obtained his MRCP and FRCP from UK, and did his cardiology training in the North East of England obtaining his CCST in July 2001, following which he took a consultant cardiologist post at the university Hospital of north Durham in UK for 15 years till April 2016 when he moved to Saudi Arabia where he did 2 years consultant cardiologist post in Dr Suleiman al Habib in Riyadh, from where he moved to UAE in April 2018 as a consultant cardiologist in al Ain Hospital as a head of the non-invasive department and where he have established a new multidisciplinary heart failure service. Since July of 2020, he moved to Tawam Hospital where he has established a new Heart failure clinic and working on establishing a multidisciplinary heart failure service. He has been appointed as the chair of the heart failure group of the UAE for the years 2022-2024. He has been the principle investigator for several industry sponsored international studies including ASSENT, FINESSE, TRIOLOGY, EMMACE3, PARADIGM, PARAGON, ROSE, THEMIS, LIFELIVE and HOT trial. He has got a proven record of positive and significant achievements throughout many years of medical career; comprehensive and in-depth experience gathered in the national health services at teaching hospitals in the United Kingdom. He has vast experience in practicing evidence-based cardiology service running coronary care units and cardiac wards looking after patients with acute coronary syndrome, heart failure and arrhythmias. He is an expert in developing pathways for management of chest pain, palpitations, and breathlessness.
