Dr. Maaz Babiker is a highly experienced consultant nephrologist with expertise in the diagnosis and management of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and Advance CKD, Renal Transplant, Hemodialysis, Hypertension, Diabetic Renal Disease, Cardio-Renal Syndrome, Glomerulonephritis, Acute Kidney Injury (AKI), Renal related pregnancy disease. With over 11 years of experience in Renal Medicine. Dr. Babiker graduated from University of Khartoum, Sudan in 2008 obtaining his MBBS degree. Following his graduation, he moved to the UK to pursue his foundation and core medical training and further specialist training in Renal & General Internal Medicine at the Health Education England West Midland Deanery working across various hospitals in the UK such as Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, New Cross Hospital, Heartlands Hospital and University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire . He worked as consultant nephrologist at University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB), United Kingdom. Currently practicing at Imperial College London Diabetes Centre - Abu Dhabi - (ICLDC) In addition to clinical work , Dr. Babiker is engaged in medical education and research , contributing to advancements in nephrology through teaching , clinical trails , publications and conference presentations . Dr. Babiker has been a Member of esteemed professional organizations such as the Royal College of Physicians United Kingdom and holds a Specialty Certificate in Nephrology from The Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom . He has been awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) . He is a member of the UK Kidney Association and American Society of Nephrology.
